I took a break from the picture-a-day business while dealing with the sudden death of my dad.  Here's a picture of my brother and me on a hay ride the day after the funeral.  We're helping each other through.

I went to the batting cages today!  Note to self: remember to wear batting gloves -- blisters hurt!  I went laser tagging too, but forgot to take a picture.  Darn, guess I'll just have to go again!

My whole body is sore from boxing yesterday, so I decided to forgo the fitness class, and go for a hike after my law school classes.  It was a beautiful just-before-fall temperature, and the sky was gorgeous.

I went to the Big E and Lego Iron Man was in the Connecticut Building, so I had to snag a picture with this man in shining armor (le sigh)!  Shortly thereafter, a woman told me that she liked my TMNT shirt.  Points all around.

It's getting cooler in New England, so my cat picks the warmest spot to sleep (of course). I think she just wanted me to go to school and leave her alone.  Totally not a crazy cat lady!  You believe me, right?

It's no secret that law students get stressed out.  So I joined a boxing gym to get my fitness on!  I'm not very good at it yet, but I was happy to have finished the first hour-long workout, even though I swear I almost died eight times. Now there's a real meaning to Fightin' Irish in my life!
